Lisa Heilman has 14 years of experience in the Correctional System. She began her career in 2003, when she became a certified Correctional Officer for the Florida Department of Corrections. During her career with The State of Florida, Ms. Heilman became a certified instructor for The Department of Corrections and taught yearly in- service training. Ms. Heilman worked at 3 different facilities during her career, to include youthful offenders, male offenders, female offenders, mental health, close management and death row. Ms. Heilman retired from the Department of Corrections on September 30, 2012 to pursue a career of assisting offenders to change their lives and break the cycle of incarceration. Ms. Heilman began her career at The Re- Entry Center of Ocala in 2013 and is currently the Employment Coordinator and supervises the employment, GPS and transportation departments.
